1133A Firmware Release Notes

How do I find my firmware revisions?

From the 1133A front panel:

  1. Press and hold the STATUS/TIME button until you see the display flash (about 3 seconds). The display should now show the Serial Number, ROM DATE, and DSP. If this information is not displayed then press and release (do not hold) the STATUS/TIME button to scroll through the display choices. The ROM DATE is the Host Processor firmware revision and the DSP is the DSP Processor firmware revision.
  2. To return to the normal STATUS/TIME display, press and hold the STATUS/TIME button until you see the display flash (about 3 seconds).

From PSCSV:

  1. Run PSCSV and connect to the 1133A.
  2. Click on Connection.
  3. Click on Information. A window with the Firmware version and DSP version should pop up.

Release notes.

v3.72 - 11May06
  1. Fix serial port (1 and 2) overflow problem associated when too much data selected for broadcast.
  2. Fix DSP problem associated with using the PMU "Raised Cosine" option. (After power-up, all phasor data would remain 0's until the PMU was re-initialized)
